Q:  What is Cambria’s Corner?

A:  We’re a website dedicated to helping parents and kids spend more quality time reading together by providing personalized stories that can be downloaded and read anywhere, at any time.

Q:  How do I personalize the stories?

A:  Once you’ve created an account (“Sign Up”), you can set up personalized fields for your children. This only has to be done once, and as long as you are logged into the site every story that you read will automatically be personalized for your child.

Q:  Why do I need to subscribe to Cambria’s Corner to see the stories?

A:  As we’re a site for young children and their parents, we want to ensure that all activity and content is appropriate. By requiring users to sign up, it helps us to make sure that Cambria’s Corner remains a safe and trusted site for everyone.

Q:  Why are Cambria’s Corner emails not coming through to my email Inbox?

A:  Check your junk mail and make sure that you add Cambria’s Corner to your safe senders list. If you are emailing to stories to others, please ask them to do the same.

Q:  How do I make the stories smaller or bigger for reading?

A:  Try Control-Plus (Ctrl+) to make stories bigger in your browser and Control-Minus (Ctrl-) to reduce the size.

Q:  How much does Cambria’s Corner cost?

A:  For now, everything is free. What we really want is feedback – what you like, don’t like, etc. Once we’ve completed the beta, we will be charging a small monthly fee to access our entire library of original stories (probably about as much as a cup of coffee!). All stories on our Community are 100% free and anyone is welcome to read and submit stories.

Q:  What are the benefits of joining Cambria’s Corner?

Q:  I’ve written an original children’s story. How do I submit it to Cambria’s Corner?

A:  We’re looking for specific types of stories that can be customized, so first read our submission guidelines. Then, click on “Submit” and send us your story through the online form. The Community is completely open to any kind of children’s stories

Q:  Do I get paid for my stories or illustrations?

A:  Yes, we pay authors and illustrators if your work is accepted and published on the Cambria’s Corner website. We’re paying $25/story and $5/picture, and Paypal is the preferred method of payment. We do not pay for submissions to the free Community.
